I loved being just a short stroll from Edinburgh Castle and the beautiful Princes Street Gardens, making my walking adventures around the city so enjoyable and convenient. the quiet atmosphere of my room was also a big plus for a restful night after a day of exploring.

great location but lacking kitchen utensils

The view from the apartment was breathtaking, especially overlooking the cathedral. The bed provided excellent comfort for restful nights.

It was just a decent option for a weekend adventure in Edinburgh with a reasonable price. The comfortable beds and 25% off at the restaurant next door were great perks. Make sure to check out the nearby attractions on foot.

our stay at the cheval was wonderful! the location is just perfect, surrounded by great bars, restaurants, and all the history & culture you could want. The staff were truly thoughtful. the check-in was smooth, and they even helped us with some local tips. the room was lovely and super comfortable.

We had a fantastic family stay in a stylish two-bedroom apartment. The power shower was absolutely refreshing, and the kitchen was incredibly well-equipped for our needs. I loved having a cozy lounge area to unwind after a day of exploring.

my stay exceeded expectations! after a previous visit to a different hotel in edinburgh, this apartment was a total surprise with its modern amenities and great location near st giles. comfortable living space with a well-equipped kitchen made our vacation even more enjoyable.

The Deluxe Open Plan Apartment featured exquisite brick walls, a lavish soaking tub, and an impressive flat-screen TV—definitely setting a luxurious tone for our stay. The variety of lighting options created a cozy atmosphere, allowing us to unwind after a long day exploring the city.

Although the apartment was well-appointed, I found the stair access a bit challenging, especially with a couple of heavy bags—might be a hassle if you've got kids in tow. The restaurant didn't prioritize hotel guests, resulting in a disappointing end to a late evening when we tried to eat around 9:25 PM and were turned away despite tables being available. Plus, there were a few hiccups with the kitchen equipment and no direct phone to reception, a small inconvenience when needing assistance. while these quirks weren't deal-breakers, they slightly impacted the experience.

Our stay was simply unforgettable! The massive windows in our apartment gave us spectacular views of Edinburgh. Plus, the luxurious linens and toiletries felt like a real treat. I also loved having a fully stocked kitchen for late-night snacks, though I missed having a full-length mirror in the bedroom.

As a marathon runner, I loved the excellent gym facilities at Cheval, which kept me on track during my stay. The location offered easy access to historical sites, making both fitness and sightseeing enjoyable. Only downside was the inconsistent heating, but it didn't detract from my experience.

Had a splendid time! Lovely location made sightseeing a breeze. My kitchen was fully stocked—who needs costly breakfast when you can whip up your own meals?

But, oh my, the noise from the nearby bar! Felt like I was throwing a midnight party rather than enjoying my holidays.

As a solo traveler, I appreciated the warm ambiance and central location. Enjoyed delightful meals at nearby restaurants like The Devil's Advocate. Be aware, though—early morning coffee isn't served until 8 a.m. Plan your outings accordingly for a more enjoyable stay!
